Hi,

Newtin's 1st law: An object will remain in rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force,

which is also called as Inertia

Hope this helps!

Hello,

Newton's first law states that the object will remain in rest or in motion until and unless the external force is exerted upon the object. It can also be said that it is this statement of inertia, object to remain in state of motion unless a force acts to change it's state.

I hope your question has been answered properly.

All the best for your future!
