Hello,
Those individuals who successfully complete the AME course and obtain DGCA's licence are eligible to get jobs. Airlines and independent organisations that specialise in aircraft maintenance are the major employers of aircraft maintenance engineers. Others also work for small employers in general aviation, including business aviation, air taxis, the police, air ambulance, surveying, agriculture and pilot training. Flying clubs also employ aircraft engineers. Some engineers work as freelancers. With only a few trained aircraft maintenance engineers, holders of licenses are particularly in demand, especially avionics specialists. As more and more airlines start operations in the private sector now, there will be an increase in demand for aircraft maintenance engineers and mechanics. Most Aviation Technicians earn somewhere between Rs. 1000 to Rs. 3000 on an hourly basis, with median income at Rs. 1700 per hour or Rs. 38,00,000 per year
