Central Institute of Technology :
- The college is a private/government college and was eshtablished in the year 2006. The college is affiliated to Gauhati University and the campus is about 83 acres with 259 faculty people.
- The college offers only three programmes i.e. B.E./B.Tech , Diploma, B.Des.
- The college has all the required facilities like separate boy's and girs'l hostel, gym, library,cafeteria, medical/hospital , wifi, transport, guest room etc.
Note : Since the college is affiliated to Gauhati University, so the NIRF ranking is for Gauhati University. Gauhati University has been ranked at 42nd among other universities by NIRF and has been also accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The university is also UGC approved.
