Dear student, NIRF ranking are given to those colleges who participate in this ranking process conducted by the government of India. CIT College has not participated in this ranking process and hence has no data in NIRF. However, it is a good college in terms of placement and faculty. Since it has been affiliated with Guwahati University, the University has been ranked at 42th position. But this ranking is not specifically for the college.

Central Institute of Technology :

• The college is a private/government college and was eshtablished in the year 2006. The college is affiliated to Gauhati University and the campus is about 83 acres with 259 faculty people.
• The college offers only three programmes i.e. B.E./B.Tech , Diploma, B.Des.
• The college has all the required facilities like separate boy's and girs'l hostel, gym, library,cafeteria, medical/hospital , wifi, transport, guest room etc.

Note : Since the college is affiliated to Gauhati University, so the NIRF ranking is for Gauhati University. Gauhati University has been ranked at 42nd among other universities by NIRF and has been also accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The university is also UGC approved.
