What is the palacement status of btech mechanical, electrical student from dayalbagh

Placements for Mechanical and Electrical from Dayal bagh Institute is decent,You will get an average salary package of 2.5-3.5 lakhs.
If you are expecting of Google,Mocrosoft,then it is not happening.But as a fresher 2.5-3.5 lakhs is a good start.

My main aim to persue btech is that i need a backup before preparing for government job.
Core streams like Mechanical,Electrical, Civil have better chances of getting Govt jobs compared to CSE,Ece.
I am not saying that they won't have any chance they do but less.
Infact DRDO recruits ECE engineers along with ME and EE.So from Govt Jobs prespective,stream is important but for private companies,college is important.
College doesn't make too much difference except IITs and NITs.As I said that for Govt jobs,stream matters and for private jobs,College matters.If you want both the options available then,Go for ME from any good Private college.According to me.

Hello,
The placement scenario of Dayalbagh Engineering College is average. The average placement package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum for Btech provided by companies like Directi, Infosys, etc. Tata Motors and Maruti also visits the campus to recruit students from Mechanical or other streams. Internship facility is also provided by the training and placement cell with an average stipend of 7000 per month. Also seed capital is provided to the budding entrepreneurs too. Hope this helps!
