Diya, every Category has a different cut off. The formula used to calculate the cut offs remains the same year after year. But the numbers or the cut offs change. The cut offs depend on various factors such as no.of candidates appearing for the exams, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now for General Category, the cut off is 50 percentile of the top NEET score. For OBC,SC and ST, it is 40 percentile of the top NEET score. Using this formula, the 2019 cut offs increased by 15 marks and were as follows:
General Category: 134-701
OBC/SC/ST:107-133
