Hello Bhanu,
All candidates who had appeared in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 exams this year, have to score a minimum of 33 per cent in all papers to pass the examination.
Hope it helps.
Hello aspirant,
Thanks for contacting Careers 360.
Passing percentage of Class 12th Boards (CBSE) is 33.
As I had taken Science (English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths), I can tell you in details about these subjects.
1. You do not have practicals in Maths and English. The theory paper is of 100 marks and in order to pass in these subjects, you need to score a minimum of 33 marks.
2. In Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you got Practicals. Theory is of 70 marks and Practicals is of 30 marks. In theory you need to secure a minimum of 23 marks and in practicals a minimum of 10 marks, thereby totalling 33 marks out of 100.
Thank You
Best Of Luck
Hii Bhanu
The qualifying marks in each subject of external examination shall be 33% at Secondary/Senior School Certificate Examinations. However at Senior School Certificate Examination,in a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in the theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order toqualify in that subject.
