Hello student

Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri is one of the oldest engineering and technology institute in India. It offers UG, PG and doctorate courses in Technology stream, all of which are approved by AICTE. The institute currently houses 10 departments of Engineering, three of Natural Sciences and one each of Earth Sciences and Humanities.

BIT Sindri offers 10 BTech and five MTech programmes across 15 departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering among others.  Admission to all the courses offered by Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri is merit as well as entrance-based. BIT Sindri BTech admission is based on Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by the Government of Jharkhand

The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.
