Hello,
Typically, to secure admission into the government engineering colleges in Assam through Assam CEE, candidates have to obtain at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Class 12 examinations or 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories. However, the percentage for getting admitted depends on the CEE score also.
To be sure of admission, applicants are advised to score at least 320+ out of 480, which means scoring top rank (1-100) and getting into the best branches in government colleges. Scoring between 280-320 will also get a good rank (101-800) with access to a wide range of government and private colleges. For average ranks between 801-7500, options may be relatively limited in top branches.
