What is the percentile score required in JEE Main for an EWS candidate to get a NIT?

Hi rakesh ,

As you have asked for ews quota the you will definitely get high advantage like other category students get  so in jee mains if you score a percentile of 91 or 92 can also get you admission in any prestigious college of engineering like national institute of technology or iiits .

And to get admission into top nits if you score a percentile more than 95 for sure you had a seat in them.

According to me-



Getting admission in NITs require general rank below 30000. It would be safe if you get that. And you may get NITs till 40000 somehow .



So coming for EWS quota there will be 10% increment in seats. Generally many candidates fall in EWS quota, so cutoff won't go much lower. It would herdly reach 35000.
