Hi there!

Greetings!

Hope you’re having a great day.

I would like to inform you that Civil engineers create, improve and protect the environment in which we live. They plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures. The salary of a civil engineer in a government Service varies anywhere between 20000-75000 INR from a fresher till being an expert. Infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage are also built by Civil Engineers.

Let me know if you have further clarifications by mentioning it in the comment section below.

Have a nice day!

I wish that you have a bright future ahead.

Thanks.

Hello,

Civil Engineering is a very vast field. There are various branches in Civil Engineering. The branches include:

  • Construction Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Geotechnical Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering
  • Surveying
  • Water Resource Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Municipal Engineering
  • Earthquake Engineering
  • Draftsmen and many more

The job profiles vary as per the varying branches of Civil Engineering. In construction engineering, the civil engineering works for the execution of structures, in structural engineering, the engineer designs structures, in geotechnical engineering, the engineer works on the analysis and data interpretation of various types of soil, in transportation engineering, the engineer works for the proper planning and execution of different roads, airports, railways, etc., a draftsmen plots and publishes the drawings of structures, etc.

The salary of an Government servant in the Civil Engineering department in Maharashtra varies according to the post he possess. Talking on an average then the average salary is about 3 Lakhs per annum.

It is not a stressful job who loves the field or who enjoys to work in this field. It is a stressful job who is working in this field against his / her will. So, taking the stress depends on the person itself.

Best Wishes.
