I won't say that the placement scenario is as grand as the CS and IT people. The packages are okay to good, and placement success is about 60-80%

The companies that come have high criteria and expectations from the students so only the good ones with the right amount of knowledge and the other things considered are chosen.

One of the main criteria is having no backlogs.

Due to which those who have backlogs get screwed.

All in all, I'd rather say study properly and avoid backlogs in any college you're in and get as much knowledge as you can, academic and extra, you'll be able to land a job in the placements, if not, don't worry cuz not every company comes to the college, there are still a lot of them out there in the market.
