To get a seat in Ravenshaw University in M.Sc Zoology:

Eligibility: Any student who has passed B.Sc. with Zoology as Hons/Major can take this course. A candidate who has scored minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in the concerned elective along with 50% (45% for SC/ ST) aggregate marks from a UGC/AICTE recognized institute at Graduation level can also apply.

There are a total of 26 seats.

Admission: The candidates are to take admission after qualifying in an entrance test conducted by the university.  The merit list for admission into PG courses will be prepared on the basis of performance of the candidate in the entrance test only. In case of a tie, the following conditions will be applied in order of preference.

i) The total number of correct answers secured.

ii) The total number of questions attempted.

The cut-offs will be mostly decided by the institute depending upon the performance of students in the test and the total seats available.
