what is the priorty order for engineeing branches?
Answer (1)
Time has changed so as student preference. 8 years back Computer Science and IT considered to be the dream branch in Engineering due to better opportunities, mushroom grooming of IT companies, higher placement packages and abroad training, etc. After 2008 when big IT companies tastes the failure and crisis happened results in slashdown of jobs and many software engineer became unemployed which stalled fear among students and parents towards software branches. Since then students again back to core branches and demand increases for branches like Civil, Mechanical and Electrical due to demand of core engineers for PSU, Industrial and Infrastructure jobs. It would be quite difficult to priorities the engineering branches but now a wave is flowing startupa and make in India which bringing equal opportunity for both software as well as core branches. Both branches are equally important and it's depend on your Interest aswellas expertise, what you really good at like codeing or physical+mental work.
