So, with regard of you're query. You can pursue Aerospace Engineering after earning your Mechanical Engineering diploma. Candidates with a diploma are eligible to study engineering under the lateral entrance program.

• Seats are set aside in engineering institutes for lateral entrance applicants. Successful completion of a diploma program at an AICTE-approved institution is a must.
• A diploma from college with at least a 60% grade point average.

Some engineering universities provide direct admission through the Management Quota program.

However, some universities need you to take an entrance exam.

Aerospace engineering is only available from a small number of colleges.

The field of aerospace engineering is fairly broad.

Aerospace engineers will be hired by ISRO, and if you perform in your field, you can land a job in a prominent organization. You can work at factories that make aeroplanes, to learn about leading Aerospace.

The option of lateral admission into the Engineering programme is available to diploma holders. It indicates that you will be admitted to the second year of the B.Tech programme. This is referred to as lateral entry. In India, almost all engineering institutes set aside a certain number of seats for diploma candidates seeking direct lateral entrance. The majority of institutions reserve about 10% of their seats for lateral entrance. The opportunity for lateral entrance is available to B.Sc. applicants as well as diploma holders. But there can be certain specifications that vary from institution to college.

Eligibility Criteria :-

• You must have earned a diploma from a school that is AICTE-approved.
• Only individuals with a B.Sc. or an engineering diploma may apply for lateral entrance.
• For the diploma course, you might need to get at least 60% of the possible points. But this principle is not always applicable. You could also get admitted to several institutions with a 50 percent grade point average. Some colleges offer reserve category candidates a relaxation of up to 5%.
• After completing class in grade 10, you should earn an engineering diploma.
• Some universities need you to take the Lateral Entry Entrance Exam even though many prefer to provide direct admission to lateral entry students.
