What is the procedure for joining an architect college. If I don't get in gov seat in NATA
Admission to the Architecture course is through two channels. One through NATA i.e. National Aptitude Test for Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture, a statutory body formed following Architects Act 1972. Most of the colleges some Government and all private ones adopt this route. Second through JEE a Common Entrance Test conducted by CBSE together with part - 2. Admissions to SPAs i.e. Schools of Planning & Architecture, all the NITs and some Government colleges adopt this route. IITs have yet another layer for admission to the institutions which offer architecture course.
so you need to appear in NATA or JEE main.
