Doctor of Science or D. Sc. as it is abbreviated is a 1-3 year post doctoral degree, is awarded to those who have done a significant contribution in science studies.
For carrying out DSc. candidates must have done Ph. D. from a recognised university and must have carried out post doctoral research work. Certain institutes may demand some other things also.
For getting admission into an institute candidate must meet the eligibility criteria of that institute. Candidates have to submit certain documents like biodata, Thesis title, brief account of research work, List of publications and copies of certificates of qualifications and experiences. Institutes release list of shortlisted candidates and issue letter of admission for them. From one month of admission process candidates must submit all the documents.
