what is the procedure of distance education for mba?
Distance MBA Education is a great way to pursue Master of Business Administration(MBA) if you are financially weak or already working. The minimum requirement is to hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized University with atleast 50 percent marks and a work experience of minimum 3 years. Some of the colleges that offer MBA Distance Learning are Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA,IGNOU Distance MBA,ICFAI ,Distance MBA. While some universities conduct their own entrance tests, others like Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA consider the score of CAT,XAT,MAT etcetera. IGNOU provides admission on the basis of IGNOU OPENMAT which is conducted twice a year.
Hope this helps.

Hello Gayathri,
The basic eligibility criteria for the 2 year MBA programme is that the candidates should be graduates in any discipline. For opting for the Distance MBA programme, the candidates need to have minimum 3 years work experience. The exact eligibility criteria might vary from institute to institute, but the generic criteria would be the same.
Selection Criteria
Most of the institutes conduct their own entrance exams. Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning (SCDL) accepts the scores of the top MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA etc. On the other hand, NMIMS Global Access School for Continuing Education selects candidates on the basis of fulfilling the eligibility criteria only.
