what is the procedure to attend All India counselling for MDS? can someone explain the process in detail.This neet counselling is confusing

Hi, Riya! Do not worry about it. It is a very simple procedure once you understand it. From the second week of March, the NEET MDS Counselling Process for 2019 will begin. This is for the candidates who follow under the 50% category of All India Quota, Deemed and Central Universities. Via an online process, the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET MDS 2019 counselling procedure. For participating in this counselling process, you have to secure the minimum qualifying cut off percentile and marks for this examination year. The NEET MDS 2019 counselling for 50% All India Quota seats is conducted in two rounds. The counselling for deemed and central universities will be held in three rounds including the mop-up round.

Ensure that you stay updated on any changes in the dates. The process pretty much remains the same. It is important that you stay updated and informed about the different steps of this process.

Step 1 includes registration for counselling.

  • Click on the registration link. You will find it on the page for this year’s NEET MDS website
  • Select your stream (medical/dental) and add all your details
  • Click on the ‘I Agree’ or ‘I don’t agree’ option after you choose to submit your form
  • If you choose to continue registering for counselling process, click on ‘I agree’ and move for the next step.
  • You will get your login credentials after this. Preserve it until the completion of your admission procedure.

Step 2 - Filling of personal details You will be required to enter your personal details such as your father and mother’s name, address, category and other details.

Step 3 - Payment Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee through the online mode via credit/debit cards or net banking. Check the refundable tuition fee and non-refundable registration fee from the table below.

Step 4 - Registration slipYour registration slip will be displayed on the screen after the payment is successfully made. Print this out and keep copies with you for the future processes.Click on ‘login’ for the next step.
