As a beginner to Coding languages, everyone should start with the Basic language of Coding which is C Programing. This is the basic language and this language ia sufficient for Engineering passing out students. As you are in first year of B tech , you have very good chances to learn and be a Pro in C language. If you can become an expert in C language by the end of final year many IT companies recruit you with high package. No need to worry, Basic java and Excellent skills in C Programing will give you a n excellent job.
