What is the procedure to fill KCET Application Form?
Registration- This is the first step for filling the application form of KCET. You will have to click on the new user button and after going through the instructions, you will have to click on “proceed to apply online.” You will have to select the your nationality and board , followed by the thirteen digit “Student Number” PUE Department. Once the candidates have furnished this information ,they will have to click on the submit button.
After successfully registering, you will receive a email in your inbox which will mention your application number and user id. You will receive the same information on your mobile number.
Log In and Fill the Requisite information in KCET Application Form
Once you have logged in, the other important information which will have to be furnished by you will be youir personal details, academic details, Contact details. If you have appeared in the KCET entrance exam in the past , then you will have to also provide its details.
Before you move forward, you can review all the information that you have provided and make the necessary changes if you feel that something has been mentioned incorrectly by you.
Upload the documents
You will have to upload your picture, signature and the left hand thumb impression. You must follow the specifications and dimensions while uploading the images.
Payment of the application fee
Once you have successfully uploaded the documents, you are advised to pay the application fee of KCET. The application fee for candidates belonging to each category is different.
General candidates – Rs 650
SC/ST- Rs 500
Candidates who have studied outside Karnataka – Rs 5,000
Submission of the application form and Print Out of the KCET application form
After filling the KCET application form completely, candidates will have to submit it and then download it. Once you have downloaded it and taken the print out of the application form, candidates will have to get it attested by the principal of their school or college from where they have either passed out or where they are presently studying. They could also get it attested by a gazetted officer.
It is advisable that you keep at least two to three printouts of the application form with you after you have filled them and have got them attested.

You can fill the application form of KCET 2018 by following the easy steps given below:
1- Registration : You need to register yourself first by selecting your nationality (which has to be Indian) and then your school board. Fill your 13 digit “Student Number” PUE Department and submit.
2 – Login : Using KCET application number and password, login and enter all the required details like your personal and academic.
3 - Upload necessary documents : After carefully all the details, move on to the next step where you will have to upload your passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the specified format. The files have to be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format with size from 5 KB to 40 KB.
4 -Make payment : The application fee of KCET has to be paid through offline mode via bank challan or DD. Look for your application fee according to your category and download the bank challan after selecting the bank. The application fee has to be paid
at branches of State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank or e-Post Offices. The demand draft has to be drawn in favour of "Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority", payable at Bangalore.
General & OBC category fees – Rs.650 (application fees)
+ Rs. 10 (bank charges) + Rs. 12 ( e-post office charges)
SC & ST category fees - Rs. 500 (application fees)

5 – Submission : After making the payment, submit the application form and take a print out of the same for your future reference.
Please note that it is important for you to get your filled KCET application form attested (from Principal/ any Gazetted Officer) otherwise it will not be considered. You will have to produce this attested copy at the time of counselling along with other required documents.

Candidates can KCET application form in online mode only. The examination authority Karnataka Examinations Authority will release the KCET application form tentatively in January 2018. The detailed procedure of KCET application form is explained below.
Before applying: Scanned images of latest Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG format only.
KCET application form: Phase 1
Step 1: Visit official website and then select ‘CET-2018 UG Online Application’ (The link will be available as and when application will be released)
Step 2: Click on ‘New User? Click Here to Register’ on the home page of online application form. Candidates will have to provide information in the registration form and submit it. After successful registration, they will receive an Application number and User-ID on registered mobile phone number and email-id and same will be displayed on the screen.
Step 3: Login Prompt will be displayed and candidates have to enter the User ID and Password created by them.
Step 4: On successful login in ‘Student information’ will be displayed to enter the required information.
Step 5: Complete the information entries and save it.
Step 6: Enter the all the study details and select ‘save and next’ button.
Step 7: After successful saving the details, upload images of photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and parent signature then select ‘save and next’ button.
KCET application form: Phase 2
Step 1: After completion all the details candidate’s will receive an application ID and Password to their registered email address and also the same will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2: Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of recent passport size Colour Photograph and Signature in JPG / JPEG format separately.
Step 3: Candidates have to take the printout of the Challan copy which is in triplicate. Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay an amount of Rs. 650 for General and OBC (Rs.500/- for SC / ST Category-1). The fee can be paid in any of the branch of specified Banks / e-Post Office. The bank / e-Post Office will retain their copy of the Challan respectively and handover the remaining two copies to the candidates. NOTE: The fee given here is based on previous year admission brochure which may subject to change in 2018 academic session.
Step 4: Candidates have to take the printout of the application form on A-4 Size sheet of paper. Affix candidate’s recent passport size photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression. Afterwards obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where they have studied 2nd PU or 12th Standard on the space provided. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy).
