Hello aspirant!

According to the central reservation scheme, here is the distribution of seats for different categories for MBBS seat under AIQ(All India Quota):

  1. SC or Schedule Caste category - 15%
  2. ST or Schedule Tribe category - 7.5%
  3. OBC or Other Backward Classes - 27%
  4. EWS or Economically Weaker Section - 10%

The remaining seats are unreserved and are filled on the basis of ranking.

In order to apply under reserved quota, you need to produce relevant documents for verification. The documents include caste certificate, income certificate if applicable, Aadhar card, birth certificate and other necessary documents as mentioned by NTA. The process of applying is same. You just have to select to which category you belong to while choice entry.

Hope this is clear!
