Master of Science in Forestry is a 2-year duration full-time postgraduate course which involves the study of forest and its uses.
Now as per your question, Admission to this course is usually based on the score obtained by a candidate in an entrance exam.
The eligibility criteria for MSc Forestry aspirants is as follows. It must be noted that the eligibility criteria will differ from institute to institute.
Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Forestry or equivalent from a recognized institute is eligible to apply.
The candidate must possess at least 50% marks in their graduation degree.
5% relaxation in marks will be provided to the reserved category candidates.

Admission to MSc Forestry in Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Pauri Garhwal is done via entrance test conducted by university. Eligibility is graduation in relevant discipline with 45% marks
Admission forms for the same will be released from the third week of April, 2020.
Entrance test shall be conducted on the second week of June, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Forestry
Graduate in science with atleast one of the subjects like botany , chemistry , geology , maths ,physics , zoology , agriculture or forestry.
Each institute have its own admission process. Mostly they conduct their entrance exam.
