What is the process of becoming a CA.All exams, eligibility etc.I am in class 11 now.

Am also in 11th std and I also want to become a CA , so I gathered some information, there r 4 steps first u have to pass CPT then IPCC then 2.5years articleship then CA final exam , if u successful passed these stages then I will we CA

The CA coursecourse has four exams in total

  • CPT (Common Proficiency Test)
  • IPCC/IPCE (Integrated Professional Competence Course)
  • Three years of Articleship under any C.A who is practicing the profession
  • CA Final Exam

Hello Rajan,

There are basically three steps to become CA. Firstly you have to clear ca foundation, after that ca intermediate which leads to 3 years of training under ca that is called articleship and after that you will have to clear ca final exams.

Ca foundation consiste of 4 exam which is given after clearing 12th class. CA intermediate consiste of 2 groups which have 4 subjects per group, means you have to clear 8 exam at intermediate level. And at CA final level also there are two groups consist of 4 subjects per group and 8 subjects in total.

Eligibility required is that you should have cleared 12th class from any recognised board. After that you also required to complete your graduation with this.
