• Candidates who wish to pursue Post graduation in Geography must have a degree in the subject from a well-recognised university.

• He/she has to have the bare minimum required percentile in the subject that a university or college expects them to have.

• For taking up M. Sc. in Geography, one has to qualify the UGC NET or the All India Entrance Exam.

• All India Entrance exam - The All India Entrance exam is conducted for geography if you wish to pursue the M.Sc. in Geography.

You need to complete your Bachelor degree in Geography for being eligible for Master of Science geography. Under graduation level you can do either Bachelor of Science or bachelor of arts Honors in Geography. The admission is mostly done on the basis of merit score secured by you in your graduation. However there are various colleges and Universities in India which are also accept entrance examination scores on the basis of which admission is granted to the master of science Geography course. Entrance examinations are BHU PET, LPU NE, Delhi University Entrance Exam.
