Hi,
Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a 3 year program.
Usually it is not difficult to change the subject in 1st semester itself. You should check the university guidelines and ask your professors and you will be easily able to change the subject because it's in first semester. If it would have been later ones it would have been a issue then.
