What is the processes of upward movement in reap ?

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) will conduct REAP 2019 counselling and seat allotment process tentatively from the first week of June. REAP counselling 2019 will be conducted in online mode. Candidates who have qualified their qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and JEE MAIN will be invited to attend counselling of REAP. Candidates belonging to Rajasthan will have an advantage of getting their allotted seats upgraded. Seat allotment of REAP 2019 can be checked through website by providing login details. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of rank secured in merit list of REAP 2019 and based on choices entered at the time of REAP 2019 counselling. Allotted seats will be confirmed only after the payment of admission fees and thereafter candidates will have to report to allotted college. The conditions are that:-

• You should have participated in the first round.
• Reported to the college which was alloted to you in the first round.
• You should have deposited the fee of the first round.
• Remaining fee has to be paid once your seat is upgraded.

Eligibility for Upward-movement/Upgradation after First Counseling: The candidate shall be

eligible for Upward-movement/Upgradation if he/she has participated in the first round of

counseling and has reported to the College/Institute allotted to him/her in first counseling. Such a

candidate is required to give his/her consent for participation in upward movement (online) by login

on the website: www.rtu.ac.in/admissions/reap. In absence of his/her willingness, he/she will not be

considered for Upward movement/ Upgradation.

2. The candidate must have participated in the first round of counseling and could not get allotment of

seat in the first counseling. Such a candidate is not required to give his/her willingness to participate

in Upward-movement/Upgradation.

3. Allotment of New Seat: In case REAP- 2016 allots a new institute through Upward-movement, the earlier allotted seat will automatically become vacant (if any). Candidate's admission to the earlier allotted seat will stand cancelled and the vacated seat would be allotted automatically to other candidate.
