Umm well thats gonna change from year to year ofcourse. The exact idea is obviously not known but a range that i can give you is 80-20% or even lesser. North Indian me i have included states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajastha, etc. as well.

See i can sense your fear maybe.. It isnt difficult as you think. The course and college are more important and once you reach there, these caste and alll wont matter at all. You will have some great bonds amd great friends, I have some South Indian people in my college who found difficult to adapt initially but now they are good friends of everyone. So stay strong and jusrt choose the best college for yourself, thats it.
