These are the steps you need to follow for admission to Vidyasagar university in B.Ed course:

You have to go to the online application process available at the university website for admission to B.Ed. programme and fill in the personal details along with the academic details after registration.

After the completion of form filling, you need to pay the application fee of Rs. 280/- through Online Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking.

Finally, you have to take the printout of the completely filled-in applications along with a copy of online fees receipt for further use in the admission process.

Documents which need to be submitted along with the hard copy of the application form and receipt. Tick mark against the documents submitted given in the check-list present in application form:

• Application fees payment receipt.
• Self-Attested copy of Admit Card / Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination for Evidence of Age.
• Self-Attested copy (both sides) of mark sheets of Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, Graduation (Part-I, Part-II, & Part-III), Postgraduate Examination.
• Self-Attested copy of Vidyasagar University Registration Certificate. (Both Side) if the candidate applies as VU applicants.
• Caste/disability certificates from the appropriate authority (if applicable).

Additional documents to be submitted by the candidates who have been teaching already:

• Copy of appointment letter of D.I. of schools, Govt. of West Bengal.
• Copy of MC resolution approving deputation.
• Certificate from the Head of Institution that the candidate has been teaching from class IX onwards.

Selection Process:

Selection will be done on the basis of counseling conducted by the central selection committee for B.Ed admissions. Any student pursuing any other degree/job/research will not be allowed to pursue this course along with it.
