Hello aspirant

LLB is a 3 year degree course which can be pursued only after graduation in any fields like Bsc , Bcom, BA.

Candidate opting for an llb must have secured atleast 45 to 50 percent in their respective stream during graduation which differs in different college.

And lastly there is as such no age limit for a candidate to apply for this course.

Some of the exams which you can opt for getting admitted in top llb colleges in india are CLAT, MHECT law.

The LLB full form is Legislative of Law. It takes 3 years to complete the LLB program. the LLB degree is a 3years duration course that candidates can pursue after their graduation degree. The LLB course is different from the five-year integrated LLB courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB, Bcom LLB etc.

Law is a unique set of rules and regulations that are categorized under the country which is governed. LLB course involves the study from Bar Council of India with subjects like labour law, civil procedure, human rights, and other deep insight into the laws and legislature. Possessing an LLB degree allows a person to enrol as a legal fraternity member and practice law in India. The job scope of LLB allows the aspirants to gain exposure in law firms and other private and public sector organizations.

After the succesful completion of the course, students can either choose the professional side or can also choose to study further with courses like LLM or PhD in Law. Apart from LLB Courses there are a number of top Law Universities / Institutes in the country

LLB is the most common law degree offered and conferred by Indian universities that has a duration of three years. Almost all law universities follow a standard LLB curriculum, wherein students are exposed to the required bar subjects.


Eligibility for LLB :-

  1. Candidates with a graduate or post graduate degree from Delhi University or any other recognized Indian or foreign university with at least 50% marks or equivalent are eligible.
  2. For admission to the LLB course, you should have completed the bachelor's degree successfully with a minimum aggregate of 45% in any recognized institution.
  3. The minimum qualifying marks will be 45% for OBC, widows/ wards of defence personnel (CW) and PwD category candidates.
  4. For SC/ ST candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will be 40%.
  5. The minimum age to apply for the course is 17 years old.
  6. Admissions are granted on a merit basis or entrance exam.
  7. the students will have to submit their documents for verification and then pay the college fees to book their seats in the program.
