what is the rank required in neet exam to get a veterinary seat in india
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hello aspirant,
The minimum marks required in NEET to get into a Government Veterinary College is 350 and above for General category. However the minimum rank required depends on how many veterinary seats the state has and so it varies from state to state. In general rank should be between 300–450. If you are applying for an all India Quota (15%) then it might increase upto 400 for General category student. As there are very less number of Private Colleges in India for Veterinary course, hence a lesser NEET score will have greater chance as the private college fee is on a higher side compared to Govt colleges.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
