In order to become IAS officer you have to complete your graduation first after passing your higher secondary examination. There is no specific stream required. What is needed is that the candidate seeking to write the Examination should have completed bachelor degree or should be in the final year of graduation ( they have to produce passing certificate later on).
Then you will have to crack Civil service examination conducted by UPSC.
UPSC takes civil services examination in three phases:
Preliminary examination Mains examination Personal Interview
Now coming to your question I would say that you have just passed your higher secondary examination and you have enough time to prepare. The more early you start the preparation the more easily will you beat the competition. For time being you should focus on your study and you could start studying little bit from your college.
