What is the role of 12 class marks during engineering placements?

Hello dear,

It depends on the company itself. In general, no, most companies do not really value 12th board marks too much. Most times, the CGPA or percentage you get throughout your college years matters.



Even if companies do set a criterion for selection based on 12th board marks, they usually do it to just filter out the candidates. There is no greatweightageof 12th marks in the overall selection process. Usually, the bar is set at 70%, so you're fine. You don't have to take the exams again.

Sandeep don't you worry..12 th marks doesn't matters in placement they only focused on what skill are owned by you..so focused on skills..marks doesn't matter..one of my friend also have 50% in his 12 th class but now he is placed in TCS..so be practical and focus on skills...
