Hello Groot,

If we talk about BAMS doctors then,

It depends on the kind of organisations you work with like if you practise as a Surgeon the more you see the more the salary which can b upto 20k to 30k per month. Also if you go as a teacher in a government institutions it starts from 50k to 60k per month which increases as you artain seniority . The private institutions it starts from 30k to 40k per month. If you work in government Ayurvedic hospital as a Surgeon you have 50k and increasing. So it all depends on the work place you choose.

If we talk about the MBBS doctor,

Depends on where you work and also on how much you work.. The Central Govt pay scale is higher than the State Govt The Central Govt pays as per 7th CPC.. and a MBBS Graduate working as a Tutor/JR gets around 7585k plus after deductions and those working in Hospitals as MO under Central Govt gets paid around 90k. And there is a 3 % increment yearly!

And those MBBS Graduates who works in Private nursing homes as MO,gets paid by hourly basis.. (say for eg.. anywhere between 175400 Rs/hour).. so calculate the amount based on number of working hours and days..

Those under State Govt hospitals(West Bengal),MBBS Graduates working as Demonstrators or Gdmo,Bmoh has a starting pay of 55000 and it increases by a certain fixed percentage each year..

If you work in any of the above mentioned places and also you practice as a General Physician.. Depending on the number of patients you have, and also based on how much fee you charge per patient your income depends..

And there are several other factors as well.. like home visits tie-up with other hospitals

In short, the more you work, the more you earn..

Dear candidate,

BAMS and MBBS are two different ways to practice medicine. BAMS is Ayurvedic medicine and MBBS is allopathic.

Salary of BAMS doctor totally depends on your skill and experience.

For freshers, in government sector salary can be around Rs. 15000-20000 and in private sector it is around. Rs.20,000 to 25,000.

After gaining experience BAMS doctor can earn upto Rs,50,000 a month.

Salary after MBBS It can range from 30,000 per month for a doctor who has just finished his MBBS to as high as 2-3 lakh per day for highly accomplished super specialist. An ex-professor of AIIMS had been offered around 12 crore per annum from a big corporate hospital.

Hope the answer is helpful.

Good luck
