Hello

The salary of MD/MS doctors in government hospitals is approximately 1 to1.5 lakhs per month but in private practice or hospitals upto 5 lakhs or higher

The salary in USA is approximately $250,000 annually with a great variation from specialty to speciality.

But one should also keep in mind the living cost in both the countries.

Hope it helps

The basic difference between pay in India and in US is that US"s currency is Dollars and India's currency is Rupees. And 1 USD is approximately 71 rupees. And there are quite a few specialisations in MD/MS. The pay range also depends on the specialisation that you have done and the demand of the specialisation both in India and in the US. So please do let us know the specialisation that you are enquiring about.
