Hi,

For an Electronics engineer though I can tell you many organisation but still vacancies are less compared to Electrical, mechanical and Civil. But yet there are many options available.

These are:

  • Research oriented job-
DRDO, BEL, ISRO, BARC, NPCIL are few reputed organisations which are mainly electronics based.
  • PSUs - BHEL,IOCL,ONGC,HPCL,NTPC,PGCIL,NLC. You won't be main engineer there but can get job aa in marketing. BSNL, MTNL are telecom sector PSU but they are not left much now.
  • Teaching Job-
You can also be a teacher if you complete your M.Tech.
  • Bank Probationary Officer
  • Engineering services examination (ESE) : This examination will give you the most prestigious job for an engineer. This is conducted by UPSC in only four stream - one is ECE.
  • RRB examination: RRB Examination is conducted to recruit for the Railways as per their necessities. This is an All India Entrance Exam.
