Dear Aspirant,
It is a common misnomer that it is the profession that guarantees a person success in that person’s career. Please understand that it is your talent/passion/dedication to the profession that will ultimately make you either a stand out professional or just another guy.
Journalism requires you to be a writer and then means you have to adore literature and that is why it has Old English as a subject. Unless you have a passion for writing/reading/story telling then journalism can become a chore.
Why do we take Psychology? It leads you to a path of being a Psychologist who help people deal with the challenges of live. One outstanding quality that one needs in this profession is empathy and listening skills. You can be a Family Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, Lecturer etc.
PG level education is ideal for both professions especially for Psychology. Choose wisely as both are totally divergent.
Good Luck
