This field is very vast and also fascinating. The scope is huge as India is at 7th position in the export of fish in the world. There are numerous jobs available. You can work in central government agencies like marine product export development authority,FSI,etc or can be self employed. You can also work out of India. You can become a inspector of fisheries, assistant director, fisheries extension officer, export inspection agency, etc. The salary in private sector is around INR 2.5 to 3 lacs per annum and increases with experience.
