What is the scope of chemical engineering after btech? What are job chances with good salary?

I admire your choice towards Chemical Engineering, as it is a stable and slightly growing field. Yes, there are lots of opportunities in that field. Although through UPSC sector there are less jobs but through GATE you can get a job with very good salary package.

If we turn towards research orientation many IITs, NITs even BARC and NPCIL like reputed sectors have great opportunities. So it is very good field according to me.

as of now there is not very good scope as well as jobs are concerned in the field of chemical engineering but definitely if you are interested in public sector undertaking that is companies like ONGC, IOCL then definitely chemical engineering is one of the option for you there are very less private recruiters which recruit directly after graduation because they ask for postgraduate at least some of the private recruiters Reliance industries, shell.

for going into PSU approaches you need to appear for gate and security good rank after that you need to appear for interview and once you qualify the interview you can get the job for private companies if the company visit your company then it is good else it is difficult.

there is lot of scope in research opportunities but it will require lot of time and I don't think that you ask question for research purpose
