Chemical engineering is an age old branch in India. It offered under BTech or BE by top educational institutes of India. IIT Delhi,IIT Bombay, BITS Pilani,IIT Kanpur,NIT Trichy are topmost colleges providing this course.Even in local colleges such as Andhra University, this course is provided under BTech. You get placements from various chemical industries such as ITC, Deccan chronicle etc with variable package from 3lakhs to 6lakhs. The sale may increase in iits. You got to do industrial work from administration and engineering sectors. So mostly male candidates are preferred.
