What is the scope of Material Engineering in India (present and future)?

You can move to any field like research and development , manufacturing plant ,casting production companies of machine parts and company wants that you should provide a good , efficient, strong according to the use, reliable ,and cost efficient products by using your knowledge of materials and science.

Material Science and Engineering provides wide range of opportunities in industries as each industry need material science engineer for the production of products. Different types of clothing fibres, light weight aircrafts, microelectronic components, etc., all these things are now available because of material and science engineering. Average salary of material engineer is around 3-4 lakhs per annum, however promotion or subsequent rise in salary depends on performance, experience and qualification.
