When you think about MBA in marketing or finance you think about salaries, but if you think about Fields like sports management you should be worried about scope and interest more than salary.

If you are just going in for the salary believe me success won't come for you. Unless and until you are interested beyond salaries don't go for it.

Its worth doing but from a good college.

MBA in sports managment is a new and very niche field. Institues such as IIM rohtak are coming up with new programs for the same. It is an interest based stream wherein only those people who want a niche domain will enroll.

So if you are inclined towards it please go ahead. But any data regarding salaries is not available. Even if salary data was available, it is a very subjective thing and depends highly upon the individual.

Sports management has off lately been great traction with advent of premier league in India like ISL, IPL, PKL, IHL, BPL and so does the sponsorship value been jncreasing creating relevant job opportunities for MBA grads.
IISM and NASM are two best college for Mba in sports management situated in Mumbai, you need to appear for SMAT or MHCET to be eligible , fees are at 7lakhs for 2 year duration.
Average salary is 5lpa and minimum is 3lpa with maximum going upto 15lpa.

The scope is building up as of now. No fixed data is available on salaries but take a min of 4 lpa to max of 12lpa roughly. I reckon a symbiosis starting such a course recently.

There is no specific MBA in sports management as such. But there are colleges that provide such a course in a term. For example IIM Indore provides that course Rather the professor has a call on whether he wants to offer that course or not.
