Hey

Petroluem Engineering has a scope, especially in Southern, South East and West parts of India due to it's large Petrol Mines and ports like Vishakhapatnam, Mangalore, Cochin. They demand a good amount of man power and there the skilled engineers would contribute. Also after Graduation if you pursue for PSU, there you would get core jobs in Undertakings like IOCL and ONGC.

In Gulf countries as well, where the petroleum and other crude fuel have a boom also demand skilled engineers for the core job. So there 's a lot of application scope in Petroleum Engineering if you work hard and excel.
