Hi,

The job profile and responsibilities may also vary according to the department or the ministries they are appointed by. It is generally the lowest level of administrative posts under various departments. It is an office work post, therefore they have to work according to the office timings only, usually, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

After clearing the SSC CHSL, candidates can be appointed for the post of LDC (Lower Divisional Clerk). LDCs generally work in the administrative section of various departments and ministries under the central government.

Clerical work and maintaining workflow.

Typing letters and orders.

Data entry.

Making salary slips.

Produce the data when ordered by the seniors.

Maintaining employee service books.

Preparing pension documents.
