It felt good hearing your interest.Phd in mathematics is a great career choice as very few people does it.Most of them do it in applied mathematics.However once you complete your phd there are numerous job opportunities related to guiding and mentoring the students in various Institutes like FITJEE,REASONANCE,GIFT's,IIIT's.Depending upon the mastery of the subject you can also apply to international colleges for assistant as well as faculty members.

If you pass out from a prestigeous instituition then you can also apply for the IIT's of India and you can get any job from the line of mathematics in academics.
