• JEE Main 2018 Photo Specifications::::

Candidates interested in registering for JEE Main 2018 must take care of photo details, photo size, etc. while attaching their photograph with JEE Main Application Form. Mentioned below is the list of important pointers:

The photograph must be a recently clicked passport size color or b/w picture, with their name and date of taking that picture printed on it.

The picture should have been clicked against a light-colored, preferably white background.

Applicant should be looking straight at the camera with a relaxed face.

If the picture is clicked on a sunny day, the sun should be behind you, or it should be clicked in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.

If the picture is taken using flash make sure that there's no "red-eye".

Candidates who wear glasses have to ensure that there are no reflections and their eyes can be clearly seen.

Hats, caps and dark glasses are not acceptable, only religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face.

If the size of the file is more than 40Kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the no. of colors, DPI resolution, etc., during the process of scanning.

Along with the photograph, applicants are also required to attach scanned images of their signature and Father/Mother/Guardians signature. Listed below are the essential specifications:

Signature has to be done on a white paper with Black Ink pen.

It must be signed only by the applicant and father/mother/guardian (separately) & not by any other person.

The applicants signature on the attendance sheet at the time of examination and on the call letter should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, they will be disqualified.
