The fee structure at SRM University will depend on your course of study and also the campus.
The fee structure of B.Tech Programs at Kattankulathur Campus, Chennai is given below:
Group A: CSE, ECE, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Automobile Engineering with specialisation in Automotive Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, EEE, EIE, Genetic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering.
Tuition fee for Group A = Rs. 250,000 per year
Group B: Aerospace Engineering and Nanotechnology
Tuition fee for Group B = Rs. 375,000
Also note that all candidates need to pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 10,000 for admission
Hostel Fees: Candidates can choose between AC and Non-AC accommodation which can vary from Rs. 29,000 - 56,500 per year.

After being allotted a seat in the institute, you will have to pay the required fees to confirm your admission. Now, the admission fees will depend upon which course and campus you have been allotted to. However, all allotted students will have to pay Rs. 10,000 as a one time non-refundable registration fee. In the Kattankulathur Campus of SRM University, the annual tuition fees for all courses except Aerospace and Nanotechnology engineering is Rs. 250,000. If you have been allotted to Aerospace or Nanotechnology engineering course then you will have to pay Rs. 375,000.
In the Ramapuram campus, those who have ranked between 101 to 1000 will have to pay Rs. 100,000 as their admission fee while those ranked above 1000 will have to pay Rs. 200,000 (Rs. 150,000 for Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering). In the Ramapuram Part - Vadapalani Campus and NCR Delhi campus, Rs. 100,000 will have to be paid by those who rank between 101 to 1000 and those ranked above 1000 will have to pay Rs. 200,000.
