NIT's attract great companies for placement of students. Based on 2019 placement details,
Highest on-campus placement was 42 lakhs per annum
Off campus includes companies like Google, Microsoft (overseas) which offer much higher salaries.
Average package(on-campus) includes 15-16 lakhs per annum
Base/starting package is around 6-13 lakhs per annum

Hello,
NIT trichy attracts most of the top tier core conpanies which offer good profile for students with decent salary.
- Average salary per year for CSE branch is approx. 12-13LPA
- LEAST CTC(on campus):- 6LPA
- Highest CTC( on- campus)- 42LPA
Around 50-60% of the CSE students(atleast),get CTC above 10 LPA.
Companies like Amazon, oracle, Nutanix, DE Shaw, etc. Offered more than 20LPA with so many facilities.
