MDS course duration is three years. The usual stipend that a student can expect at a private dental college can range from Rs. 3000 to Rs. 50,000 depending upon a variety of factors such as geographical location, ranking of the college and the funds that the respective college accumulates.

The three-year stipend distribution rules are specific to each college. According to this Private MDS institution in India with a Stipend amount by the MCC, students studying MDS courses at Pvt Dental Colleges would be required to pay the desired amount if they abandon their degree in the middle.
Now stipend is differ from college to college. Some colleges pay around 3k - 5k per month wheras some pays 30k to 50k in three respective years.
