Only the thing which you need to do is to do the revision as much as you can and after the completion of your syllabus try to do the various type of mock test and previous year GATE paper in your respective field of study such that you may able to get the actual scenario of the GATE exam and it will be fruitful too as well . From the toppers study it is concluded that Inorder to fetch the good rank in Gate , you have to prepare those topics very well in which you are good and from those topics from which the IIT will generally ask the question such that you can able to answer the maximum number of questions from those respective area.
